On Saturday, October 3, Lakeshore participated in Leap’s 26th Annual Sandcastle Contest. This year’s theme was Stories in the Sand: Classic Children’s Books. Ms. Pappas’ class worked with McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. and HDR Architects to build “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and was awarded the prize for Most Imaginative Engineering.
