No Name Calling Week
Last week was No Name Calling Week and we all saw many acts of kindness and “put ups” rather than “put downs”. We are hopeful that this is just the beginning of our students demonstrating kindness to others. The goal of acknowledging No Name Calling Week was to raise the awareness and being mindful of our words and actions. From time to time, we all need to be aware of how powerful our words can be, and how they can negatively or positively impact those around us. We ask that you have an ongoing conversation with your child/ren about using respectful language at school. Remember, modeling can also be very powerful! = Ms. Keener

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Give Lakeshore a Valentine’s gift by contributing to the PTA. 100% of the funds raised by the PTA are used to pay the enrichment consultants who run such programs like art, motor, drama, gardening and more. We need your generous contribution to continue these programs next year. We are facing huge budget cuts and many of these beloved programs will be affected.
