SFUSD Budget Crisis, Town Hall Event “Public Education – Funding Our Future”
Enough is enough! On February 25th a coalition of parents and community organizations will be joining together for “Public Education – Funding Our Future” a Town Hall meeting looking for real solutions to the public school funding crisis. Invited guests include Mark Leno, Fiona Ma and Tom Ammiano from the State Legislature, Carlos Garcia SFUSD Superintendent, Carol Look from the State PTA and others. We are looking for creative funding solutions, smarter long-term budget reform, a real parent advocacy movement and true accountability.
Event Details: Feb. 25th, 6:30-8:30, Marina Middle School.
