		This class is an introduction to the theater. The teachers request a certain number of hours and the classes are usually held once a week for approximately one hour per class.


		The children learn about the stage and what it takes to make a theatrical production: performers, stage crew, lights, sound, costumes, props, makeup, music, etc. The goal is not to turn the children into little actors, but to teach them to be the audience of the future. If time allows, the children work on a casual performance piece. Volunteers are welcomed to attend and assist with the classes and performance.
